Nobilis owns and operates many hospitals and Ambulatory Surgery Centers—also called ASCs—so it is highly likely that a patient’s procedure will take place at a Nobilis-owned facility. The gastric balloon system helps facilitate weight loss by taking up space in the stomach so patients eat less. The balloon is soft and durable and designed to fit comfortably in the stomach. When used with a diet and exercise program, patients have lost twice as much weight as those with diet and exercise alone.
